Weekly Prayer Points (21st - 27th June)

Sunday 21st June

Celebrate and praise God for our new Vicar. Pray that God will bless and direct their family as they begin preparations to join St Saviour’s.

Monday 22nd June

For Christian Missions continuing to work in isolation or with reduced funding due to lack of contact with their supporters.  We think particularly of Watoto in Uganda, Tearfund as some of our church members work there and East to West in Staines, ask God to protect them.

Tuesday 23rd June

For our church Staff Team.  That God will direct all the work of the church through the staff team and volunteer ministry leads.

Wednesday 24th June

For the Big Build Project, that plans will continue to progress and enable work to begin.

Thursday 25th June

Domestic Violence is experiencing an unfortunate surge at this time as partners and families and spending long times together. Pray for those who are caught up in this, for those effected to realise the implications of their actions and try to desist. That victims can seek help safely or know they can leave an abusive home to seek help.

Friday 26th June

For children and young people who are returning to school for the last three weeks of term, as well as those who will remain at home.

Saturday 27th June

For the pastoral team to be able to help those who seek help during this time. For people to know there is spiritual help available from church even though we are physically shut.
