In case you're wondering exactly what the Annual Parochial Church Meeting is, this blog gives you all the information you might need, including forms to complete if you are considering standing as Warden, for the Deanery Synod or PCC.
The AMP is the Annual Meeting of Parishioners. If you are on the electoral roll for the parish or the electoral roll for St Saviour's then you can attend this meeting. This is where the Churchwardens are elected and will form the first part of our time together. If you are considering standing for Churchwarden then please speak to Revd Allen Bower in the first instance. The following nomination form will also need to be completed and sent to the church office by Friday 23rd October.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will take place directly after the AMP and it is where the representatives for the Deanery Synod and PCC are elected. It is also where you can hear more about what has happened at St Saviour's since January 2019, including a report on our finances. A report and statement of our financial accounts has been prepared and published on our website. Only people who are on the church's electoral roll can attend and vote at this meeting. The period of revision for the electoral roll has now come to an end and the final list can be viewed on our website. The application forms to stand as Deanery Synod or PCC can be downloaded here:
Click here to read a brief description about each of these roles.
As this year's APCM, held via Zoom, any voting required will need to take place using an online poll. In order to allow us enough time to set these up in advance, please ensure your nomination forms are returned to the church office or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 23rd October.
If you have been seeking God’s leading and you feel that God may be calling you to stand as Warden, for the Deanery Synod or the PCC then please do speak to someone on the church leadership team to find out more. We would love to hear from you!
In the absence of the church being open for services, notification about this meeting has also been displayed on the door of the church.
If you need hard copies of any documentation related to the AMP or APCM and are unable to print them at home then please email the church office on email@example.com or call 01932 782 800.
