APCM Date announced!
Dear church family
We are pleased to tell you that, following revised guidance issued by the Church of England, we are now in a position to plan our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). The meeting will be held via Zoom on Sunday 25th October (beginning at approximately 11am), following the online Sunday morning service.
This is an important occasion in the calendar of the church as it is when Churchwardens, PCC and Deanery Synod members are elected. Only church members who are on the electoral roll will be allowed to attend and vote at the meeting.
We will be revising our electoral roll between 26th September and 10th October 2020. Everyone on the electoral roll will be sent zoom details for the meeting after 10th October. If you are not currently on the electoral roll and would like to be added then please email email@example.com or phone the church office on 01932 782 800 and you will be sent a form to complete. Once the electoral roll has been completed, the names (only) of everyone on the roll will be published on the front door of the church for two weeks from 10th – 24th October 2020. Click here to access the official notice of revision of the church electoral roll.
If you would like to consider standing for the PCC or Deanery Synod then you can receive further information by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In July we published some guidance about what is involved in being a PCC member. Click here to read it.
We would also like to have the opportunity to invite anyone interested in joining the PCC to attend some training at the beginning of October.

We will ensure that everyone who is currently on our electoral roll, but not on our email system, receives a copy of this letter in the post.
