New Men's Ministry

We've launched a new Men's Ministry!

So for those of you who don't know me; my name is Rix and I've been tasked with looking after the new Men's Ministry here at St Saviours. Our vision for this area of church is to create a forum that allows us men to fellowship together, pray/worship together and most importantly help each other to grow in our Christian walk because:

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"

(Proverbs 27:17)

The three key areas we are looking to build are: Heart & Soul Nights These evenings are going to be the core part of the ministry and we'll be meeting one evening per month in the main church building. The official launch is the 18th July at 7.30pm so come along. For our first night we have a Q&A session with our fantastic Rev Ron Cross followed by some dedicated time for prayer and worship. Men's Breakfast Josiah will continue to run Men's Breakfast on Wednesday mornings. This starts from 6.30am - 7.30am (term time) in the Glebe building behind church and involves breakfast and bible study and a great way to start your Wednesday. Cross Sports Matt Brimble is running the sports part of the Men's Ministry and as you may have heard (or been part of) St Saviour's had a friendly cricket game last week against St Mary Magdalene's. The sports part of the ministry is a great opportunity to invite other men who aren't yet a part of the St Saviour's family. We have some other things lined up too so watch this space (not literally or else you'll be staring at this screen for a couple of weeks #TrueStory). Have fantastic week, I'll leave you with this launch trailer I created to get that excitement flowing!
