“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Acts 2:42

What is a Small group?

Small Groups are at the heart of church life at St Saviour’s Sunbury.
They are a great way to get to know people, build lasting friendships and grow as a follower of Jesus.

What to expect

There are two types of small group's here at St Saviour's:

1. Life Groups
The majority of Life Groups meet on mid-week evenings in homes around the local area. A typical meeting would consist of a chat, study and prayer. Many groups also hold fun social events from time to time.

2. Growth Groups
Growth Groups run each term for 8-10 weeks and focus on a particular subject. A sign up period operates that the beginning of each term and a limited number of spaces are available.

Next sign up period 16-30th April.

"Joining a life group has given me a whole new network of church family to connect with beyond a Sunday. With our lovely hosts we regularly meet to eat, chat, share life and develop our faith through bible study and prayer. An absolute must...it’s so encouraging."

- Angela

"I've been part of a Life Group for many years and really value the opportunity to form close friendships, being able to provide practical support, deepen my faith (through bible studies) and pray for each other all in a safe space with plenty of tea/coffee and cakes."

- John

"Life group has been a place of welcoming & acceptance. A place of interesting & challenging bible study with great company, fun social events & fantastic food!"
