We believe the youth of today are the future of our world tomorrow and we value the importance of investing by equipping and empowering our young people the best way we can.
During the morning service the Youth all get together for some teaching, games and good times (we often play Ninja!).
Once a month we either get out to serve the community by litter picking around the neighbourhood, handing out teas, coffees, and pastries to people walking by the church.
We also serve within our church to help on the worship team, with the kids’ ministry or on the hosting team.
Youth from school years 7-13 are welcome to join us.
Youth Life Groups
The Youth meet together every week for some food and to look more at what it means to be followers of Jesus on a deeper level. Jesus calls us not only to believe in him, but to follow him, and we are excited to discover together with you guys what that actually looks like.
If you are between school years 6-9 join us every Wednesday during term time from 5:30-7pm.
Youth from school years 10-13 meet every Sunday during term time from 5:30-7pm.
Youth Life Groups are in the Church Glebe building.
Every Friday night during term time we gather together as Youth from 7-9pm, anyone from school years 7-13 are welcome.
The first forty minutes consist of hanging out together, listening to music, playing table football, pool, and table tennis whilst enjoying snacks from the tuck shop, or hot drink.
It is just a time to chat together and enjoy each other’s company. After that we move into a time of worship lead for us by our very own St Saviour’s Youth band! This is followed by a talk/teaching which is aimed at helping us grow closer to God and loving people more.
Information for Parents
Our heart is for Friday nights to be a youth church run for the youth and by the youth! So we want to get as many young people as possible involved in serving and leading on Friday nights.
There are many areas available for young people to get involved, so please don’t hesitate to have a chat with our youth leaders to find out how you can get your young person involved or you can email our youth pastor via the contact form.
